On September 8–9, our indexing service experienced an issue caused by broken migrations that originated in older database versions and were carried forward through upgrades. These stalled operations blocked inserts, resulting in temporary gaps in historical data. We resolved the problem by terminating the broken migrations, and the service has been stable since September 9. To prevent recurrence, we have blocked further mutations on this database, expanded monitoring, optimized load handling, and established more proactive customer monitoring to detect and resolve issues before they have an impact.
We've now resolved the incident including backfilling all the gaps in the historical data. Thanks for your patience.
We've fixed the core issue, and are waiting for things to recover.
We are currently investigating an issue affecting the availability of historical data in the Exchange Rates data type on the Market Data REST API and Indexes API. Please note that real-time data is not impacted.
We are processing this, and we will provide updates as more information becomes available. We appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this.
